Description
Biaxial cloth consists of two layers of parallel fibres laid in two orientations, stitched with polyester yarn. The most commonly used and known biaxial fabrics have fibres oriented at ±45º. Biaxial cloth has an advantage over woven because the fibres can take a direct line without going under or over other fibres, this means no crimping and therefore a much improved tensile strength. Suitable for use with epoxy, polyester and vinylester resin systems.
