450g chopped strand mat is one of the most widely specified reinforcement weights in GRP work, striking a balance between ease of use and laminate strength that suits both roofing and general fibreglass projects. Its lighter weight per square metre means it wets out quickly and conforms well around corners, upstands, and trim details, making it a practical choice for the kind of detailed work involved in flat roof installation.

Available in roll sizes from 1kg right up to 25kg (approximately 44m² coverage), so quantities can be matched closely to the size of the job, whether that's a small repair or a complete roofing project. As with all chopped strand mat, it should be saturated thoroughly with resin and rolled out to remove trapped air for the best laminate strength and finish.
