Pattern/Mould Coating

When building a plug or pattern for GRP tooling, the surface finish you start with determines the quality of every mould and part that follows. CFS Fibreglass stocks the Lewellyn Ryland range of pattern and plug primers, developed to be sprayed directly onto patterns and moulded from (once a release agent has been applied), giving a smooth, high-gloss surface ready for production.

Higher-numbered products in the range build up more coating thickness for filling and levelling, while lower numbers buff to a higher gloss, so you can choose the right balance of build versus finish for your tooling project.

Best results achieved when sprayed using 1.8 - 2mm nozzle. All packs include required catalyst. Pot life: 15-19 mins at 25^oC
