Our Wet or Dry Sanding Paper Sheets are silicon carbide abrasive sheets designed for use either dry or with water as a lubricant - a fundamental finishing tool in GRP, gelcoat, and topcoat work, and the standard choice for the later stages of surface preparation before polishing.

Using wet or dry paper with water prevents heat build-up, reduces clogging, and delivers a finer, more consistent finish than dry paper alone - making it the preferred choice for flatting gelcoat repairs, cutting back orange peel in topcoats, and preparing surfaces for final polish. Used for smoothing surfaces prior to using polishing compounds. 100-240-320-400-600-800-1000 & 1200 grit. Higher grit number produces finer finish.
