Water Clear Cast Polyester Resin 1kg

Water Clear Cast Polyester Resin is a versatile, transparent casting resin ideal for embedding specimens, producing paperweights, trophies, novelty items, and decorative objects. It cures to a water-clear finish that showcases whatever is cast inside it, making it a popular choice for both craft and small-scale production applications.

This is a polyester-based casting resin, offering a straightforward and cost-effective solution for clear casting work. It is catalysed using MEKP at between 0.5 - 1%, giving a pot life of approximately 20 minutes at 20°C. To minimise the risk of cracking in larger pours, it is recommended to use the minimum catalyst level and to cure the casting in a water bath.
