Metroflex Non-Slip Additive

Metroflex Non-Slip Additive is mixed into the Metroflex topcoat resin to create a textured, slip-resistant surface finish. It's the specified solution when a Metroflex roof will be used as a walkway, balcony, or roof terrace, where a smooth GRP finish would present a slip hazard in wet conditions.

The additive is straightforward to incorporate - it's blended into the topcoat before application and creates a fine aggregate texture once cured. The result is a surface that maintains the waterproofing properties of the Metroflex system while meeting safety requirements for trafficked roof areas. It does not affect the system's fire rating or its 20-year materials guarantee.

Disperse these beads onto the resin topcoat immediately, then use your roller to coat the beads in resin to acheive an effective durable non slip surface. Made from thermoset polymers, these beads are easy to apply and are tough enough for walkways, patios or any application requiring an anti skid finish when using the Metroflex system.

Coverage up to 100g per m² depending on finish required.
