Modroc Plaster Bandage

Modroc Plaster Bandage is a plaster-impregnated gauze bandage with a huge range of uses in modelling, sculpture, life casting, and prop making. Simply wet, apply, and allow to set. It is used for making casts of body parts, holding the shape of alginate moulds, and as a medium for sculptors creating full-size 3D models of large objects when used in conjunction with an armature.

Versatile, easy to use, and fast-setting, Modroc is a staple material in art studios, theatre workshops, special effects, and schools. It can be applied directly to the skin for life casting (with appropriate release agent), draped over armatures for large-scale sculpture, or used to create rigid outer shells to support flexible rubber moulds.
