RTV 23 Fast Catalyst (Yellow)

RTV Fast Catalyst (Yellow) is the fast-cure catalyst for use with RTV 23 Silicone, designed to reduce pot life and demould time when a quicker turnaround is needed. Identified by its distinctive yellow colour, it is the faster of the two catalysts available for the RTV 23 system - ideal for smaller moulds, warmer working conditions, or production environments where cycle time is important.

It is used in conjunction with the RTV 23 Silicone base and mixed at the standard ratio to initiate cure. The fast catalyst shortens the working window compared to the green slow catalyst, so it is best suited to pours that can be completed and settled quickly.
