Description
Mirka GOLD, a durable, all-round abrasive, is very well suited for high speed sanding in a multitude of applications. Gold features a semi-open and special stearate coating designed to prevent clogging and pill forming, which helps achieve optimal sanding results.
Moving into the finer end of the range, the Mirka GOLD P240 is ideal for flatting primer coats and removing minor surface defects ahead of topcoating. It leaves a refined scratch pattern that responds well to further finishing, making it a natural step in any multi-stage sanding process on fibreglass, gelcoat or painted panels.
The Mirka GOLD 150mm P240 Sanding Disc is a fine grit disc for final flatting before topcoat application and pre-polish surface preparation on GRP, composites, and painted surfaces. A durable, all-round abrasive featuring a semi-open and special stearate coating designed to prevent clogging and pill forming. P240 removes P180 scratch marks cleanly and prepares the surface for the finer finishing stages. Progress to P320, P400, or step to wet or dry paper for the final stages.
