Menzerna Heavy Cut Foam Pad 180mm Red

The Menzerna Heavy Cut Foam Pad is the most aggressive foam option in the range, designed to remove heavy oxidation, deep scratches and severely degraded gelcoat. Its dense red foam construction is built to work with cutting compounds on a rotary polisher, generating the friction needed for fast, effective defect removal on badly weathered surfaces. It's typically the first step in a full correction process, followed by a softer foam or lambswool pad for finishing.

How to Use

1. Attach the pad to a compatible rotary polisher backing plate.
2. Apply a heavy-cut compound to the pad or surface.
3. Work at low speed with firm pressure in overlapping passes.
4. Increase speed gradually as the defect begins to lift, monitoring heat build-up.
5. Wipe away residue and inspect the surface before moving to a softer pad.
6. Clean the pad thoroughly after use and allow it to dry fully before reuse.
