RTV 23 Slow Catalyst Green 500g

RTV Slow Catalyst (Green) 500g is the extended working time catalyst for use with RTV 23 Silicone, designed to give a longer pot life for larger pours, more complex patterns, or cooler working conditions where additional time is needed before cure begins. Identified by its distinctive green colour, it is the slower of the two catalysts available for the RTV 23 system and the recommended choice when working on intricate or multi-part moulds where a rushed pour could compromise the result.

It is used in conjunction with the RTV 23 Silicone base and mixed at the standard ratio to initiate cure. The slow catalyst extends the working window significantly compared to the yellow fast catalyst, giving greater control over the process and helping to reduce the risk of incomplete fills or trapped air bubbles in complex cavities.
