RTV Thixotropic Additive TA2 100g

It has been designed to produce an attractive butter-on consistency within seconds of addition to the catalysed liquid rubber. It can be employed with RTV 23 Slow Catalyst (Green) where a long working period is required or, it can be used with RTV 23 Fast Catalyst (Yellow) for a fast cure system which can be demoulded within 3 to 4 hours.

In its standard form, RTV 23 Silicone has a relatively low viscosity that makes it well suited to pouring over flat or contained patterns. Adding the Thixotropic Additive increases the body of the material, giving it a paste-like consistency that stays where it is applied, making it ideal for brush-applied skin moulds and glove moulds where precise coverage and control are important.
