Overview
Metroflex Summer Inhibitor is an additive to extend the working time of Metroflex resin when applying in hot conditions.
Maximum dose can double the pot life of the resin.

Description
Metroflex Summer Inhibitor is used to slow the cure rate of Metroflex roofing resin during warm or hot weather installations. As ambient temperature rises, catalysed resin cures significantly faster - reducing the working time available to wet out the glassfibre mat and consolidate it properly before gel occurs. In warm summer conditions, this can cause problems with adhesion, laminate quality, and surface finish.
Adding Summer Inhibitor to the mixed resin extends the pot life to a more manageable working window, giving installers sufficient time to complete each section without rushing. It is used in conjunction with the standard Metroflex Catalyst, not as a replacement. Refer to the Metroflex application guide for the correct dosage based on temperature.

Specifications
Add up to 200g per 20kg (1% by weight).
Ensure inhibitor is thoroughly mixed in.
Lower addition of inhibitor will have less effect.
Do not exceed maximum dose.
Catalyse your resin as normal when ready to use.
