Crystacal R is a formulated hemihydrate plaster (CaSO4.½H2O) produced from naturally occurring high purity gypsum mineral. It is off-white in colour. This product is used to make hard casts with fine reproduction of detail. It is used in the manufacture of glass reinforced gypsum structures, decorative plasterwork, giftware and dental models

Crystacal R Casting Plaster 5kg is a convenient smaller-quantity pack of this premium hemihydrate gypsum plaster, ideal for craft projects, one-off castings, life casting, giftware production, and any application where maximum hardness and the finest possible detail reproduction are required.

Crystacal R produces hard casts with fine reproduction of detail - making it a step above standard casting plasters and the preferred choice for decorative plasterwork, GRG applications, and dental modelling work. Off-white in colour, it mixes readily with water and is straightforward to use for both beginners and experienced casters.
