Metroflex Roof Pack 14m² Sold without Primer

The Metroflex 14m² pack without primer covers mid-size flat roofs on new timber decking - typically single garages, larger bay roofs, or small to medium house extensions where OSB or plywood has been laid fresh and no primer is needed. Skipping primer where the deck is new and clean is perfectly correct practice and reduces both material cost and installation time.

Contents include Metroflex flexible roofing resin, 300g chopped strand mat, catalyst, and topcoat, proportioned for 14m². The finished roof is seamless, permanently waterproof, BRoof (t4) fire rated, and covered by a 20-year materials guarantee. If the timber has been exposed to weather, treated with preservative, or has any surface contamination, it's worth consulting the Metroflex guidance on whether primer may still be advisable.

Metroflex Roofing system can be applied to any flat roof of any size and any configuration, and can be installed without expensive specialist tools. The completed monolithic (seamless) membrane is hard wearing, resisting UV, heat, weathering and foot traffic.

The Metroflex system has been tested and approved to the highest specification of fire resistance (BRoof (t4)) to meet all building control requirements for flat roofing.

Our standard colour is RAL 7016 Anthracite Grey, and a slate granule can be added to create a natural non-slip finish if required.
