    The 2.5kg container of Prymax GRP Primer is a popular mid-size option for tradespeople and keen DIYers tackling larger repairs or several smaller jobs. It delivers the same fast-drying, moisture-curing bond as the rest of the range, priming wood, concrete and metal ahead of polyester resin and fibreglass lamination. Based on typical coverage of 200g per m² on wood and concrete (150g per m² on metal), 2.5kg will treat roughly 12-16m² depending on the substrate - a practical middle ground between the small 1kg tin and the bulk 5kg and 20kg sizes.

    Prymax is a polyurethane solution that massively improves bonding of polyester resins to concrete, wood and metal. Prymax moisture curing system means it can be applied in damp (not wet) conditions and low temperatures. When Prymax is partially cured, polyester resins will chemically bond, making it an excellent primer for bonding GRP to porous and metal substrates.
