Description
Herculite 2 is a formulated hemihydrate plaster (CaSO4.½H2O) produced from naturally occurring, high-purity gypsum mineral. It is off-white in colour and is used for the production of decorative plasterwork including corbels, ceiling roses, dado rails and in GRG applications.
Herculite No. 2 Casting Plaster 5kg is a convenient smaller-quantity pack of this high-quality formulated hemihydrate gypsum plaster, ideal for craft projects, one-off castings, life casting, and smaller mould making applications where a full 25kg bag is not required.
Herculite 2 produces hard casts with fine surface detail and has a short setting time, making it well suited to the production of smaller casts. Off-white in colour, it mixes readily with water and is suitable for a wide range of casting applications including decorative plasterwork, GRG work, and general craft use.
For larger production volumes or trade quantities, the same plaster is available in a 25kg bag. For applications where the finest possible detail and maximum hardness are required, see Crystacal R.
