C11D Expansion Enclosure (E280 and D Trim)

The C11D Expansion Enclosure is the junction piece used where an E280 expansion joint run meets a D-series fillet trim at a wall or parapet upstand. This detail occurs wherever a bay division runs perpendicular to a wall abutment - a common layout on roofs that span close to or abut a vertical structure - and the C11D resolves the meeting of the two trim profiles in a single factory-moulded GRP component.

Without the correct enclosure piece, the junction between the E280 rib and the fillet trim is difficult to seal and finish neatly on site, and is vulnerable to water tracking behind the trim. The C11D eliminates this risk by providing an accurately profiled junction that bonds to both trim runs and the adjacent laminate simultaneously. Supplied in light grey GRP; fixed with PU adhesive. Compatible with D260 and D300 fillet trims - confirm the fillet profile in use when ordering.
