E280 Expansion Joint 280mm 3m Length

The E280 Expansion Joint in 3m length is the standard choice for new flat roof installations and larger refurbishment projects where continuous bay division runs are needed across the roof. The 3m length reduces the number of joints in the installed trim line, minimising the number of closure pieces required and giving a cleaner, more consistent result across a larger roof area.

On flat roofs of 40m² or more, expansion joints should be incorporated at intervals specified in the roofing system design - typically every 3-4m in each direction, or at any point where the deck spans a structural movement joint in the building below. The E280's raised central rib allows the two adjacent laminate sections to move independently while remaining weatherproof, and the flanged base bonds firmly into the resin on both sides of the joint. Requires C5 E280 Expansion Trim Closures at each end where the run terminates (available separately). Volume pricing applies at higher quantities. Fixed with PU adhesive.
