ER35/40 Simulated Rolled Rib Half Length 1.5m

The ER35/40 Simulated Rolled Rib in 1.5m length is a decorative GRP trim that replicates the appearance of a traditional rolled metal roof rib, adding visual definition and period-appropriate detailing to GRP flat and low-pitch roof installations. It is particularly popular on domestic projects where the aesthetic character of a traditional roof is desirable - such as bay window roofs, porch roofs, and extensions on older properties - without the maintenance demands of genuine lead or zinc roll.

The ER35/40 designation refers to the rib's height and width dimensions, giving a profile that closely resembles a traditional lead roll or metal batten roll in appearance. Unlike the E280 expansion joint, the simulated rolled rib is a purely aesthetic addition - it does not function as a movement joint - and can be positioned freely to achieve the desired visual spacing across the roof. The 1.5m half length is suited to smaller areas or layouts where shorter rib runs are needed. Closed at each end using a C6 Rolled Rib Closure (available separately). Fixed with PU adhesive.
